The Estate
Since 1969, the Lycée Viticole de Libourne-Montagne has been training future professionals in the vine and wine industry. Its 40-hectare vineyard is located in the prestigious appellations of Montagne Saint-Emilion and Lalande de Pomerol.
It is committed to developing a policy of product and service quality, as well as a commitment to to protect the health and safety of their operators, their consumers and the environment.
This estate is HEV (High Environmental Value) certified.
The Vineyard
Region: Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux, France.
Age of the vines: 16 years.
Terroir: gravelly - sandy - loamy.
Vineyard management: gentle pruning, disbudding and leaf removal, mechanical soil management.
HEV (High Environmental Value) certification
Member of the 1st association for the Bordeaux Wine EMS certified ISO 14001.
Grape variety: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 18 months before bottling
In the glass
Tasting notes:
Deep ruby colour. Clear nose of red fruit with a touch of spice and vanilla. Round and suave attack. The palate is well balanced and reveals crisp tannins.
