At the Winery

Harvest : hand picked

Vinification :

  • Small truncated stainless steel vats with temperature control.

  • Vatting period of 4 to 5 weeks

Ageing : Aged for 12 months in barrels.

In the glass

 

Tasting notes: 

A purplish red colour, this wine presents intense red fruit aromas (blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry pit) and spicy notes. In the mouth, the attack is supple with peppery notes. The mouth is round, the tannins are silky. Fresh fruit notes are found in the middle of the mouth. A touch of wood on the finish, carried by a fine tannic structure.

  • Chocolate desserts

Tasting advice:

Ageing potential: 5 to 8 years after the harvest.
